Golf Society Visiting Parties are welcome most days by prior arrangement with the Professional or the main office.
Reservations should be made by telephone via the Professional on 0161 746 7160 or the main office on 0161 748 2116, and will only be confirmed when the Club has received a deposit of £50. (Non-refundable).
'2 fore 1' Vouchers cannot be used as payment.

A full catering service is available, however it is advisable to confirm your requirements with the Caterer in advance to avoid disappointment.

Arrival
The car parking provided for the convenience of the members and visitors.
Changing in the car park is not permitted and the wearing of spiked shoes strictly prohibited.

The Society Organiser shall report to the Professional on arrival, at which time the appropriate green fees must be paid unless prior arrangement has been made. The Organiser should pay any additional payments due, or incurred on the day before leaving the Club.

Cancellations of less than one week must be paid in full

Professional's Shop
Where green fees are paid the Professional will advise you of any Temporary Local Rules to be observed. Societies are actively encouraged to purchase prizes from the Professional's Shop.

Form Of Play/Starting Times
The form of play and start times will be agreed in advance with the Organiser and the Club.
Play will be from the Yellow Tees.

Dress Code On The Course
A good standard of dress is expected. Golf shoes must be worn. In no circumstances may jeans. training shoes, collarless shirts or tracksuits be worn. Tailored shorts are allowed when worn with Knee length or predominantly white sports socks (not trainer socks).

Golf Ettiquette
All members of the Golf Society must have a bona fide handicap certificate or provide evidence of competency and must be fully aware of golf etiquette.

Priority On The Course And Slow Paly
In the absence of Special Rules, two ball matches have precedence and are entitled to pass, any three ball or four ball match. If a match fails to keep its place on the Course and loses more than one clear hole on the players in front, it should allow the match following to pass. Players searching for a ball should signal the players behind them to pass as soon as it becomes apparent that the ball will not easily be found. Do not search for five minutes before doing so.

Trolleys
Wide wheeled trolleys are permitted (weather allowing). Motorised buggies are not allowed on the Course except in exceptional circumstances, in all such cases permission must be obtained form the secretary in advance of arriving at the Club. Trolley hire is available from the pro shop but please book in advance on 0161 746 7160.

Bunkers
Before leaving a bunker, carefully fill up and smooth over footprints. After use, bunker rakes should be left in the centre of the bunker.

Divots
Divots must be replaced.

Pitch Marks & Spike Marks
Any damage to the putting green should be carefully repaired using a tool designed for the purpose. Damage caused by golf shoe spikes should be repaired n completion of the hole.

Paths & Steps
It may mean an extra few yards, but keep to the paths and always use steps to and from tees, where such steps are provided. Even if you are carrying your golf bag, use the paths and steps.

Greens
Greens should never be used as 'straight line' paths, even if you are carrying your golf bag.

Greens Staff
The maintenance of the Course is proceeding at all times, but greens staff will interfere with your golf as little as possible.

However there may be times when they will be working on a hole, which you are playing and your patience is those circumstances will be very much appreciated. The greens staff will have priority at all times.

The Clubhouse
The Clubhouse has changing rooms for both ladies and gentlemen. Trolleys must not be taken into the locker rooms. On the first floor are situated a mixed lounge, snooker room and dining room. Visitors are expected to comply with the Club's Rules regarding dress. Smart casual dress is permitted in the mixed lounge and dining room. Appropriate notices will advice any temporary changes to these rules. Hats and baseball caps may not be worn in the Clubhouse. All meals must be taken in the dining room.

Bar
The Bar hours are : 12:00 noon - 2:00pm and 7:00pm - 11:00 pm.
Requirements other than above may be arranged in advance with the Club.

General Inormation
All accounts must be settled in full before leaving the premises. No responsibility can be accepted for loss of, or damage to equipment left unattended and it is recommended that you exercise caution in this respect.
